Massive room, beautiful historical building, and unbeatable location near the metro and local attractions. The bed was a dream! Had such a comfortable stay.

Requesting a quieter room may enhance your stay, especially if you notice noise from the air conditioning.

The Art Deco King Room was spacious with comfortable bedding, and I loved the separate bath with its own TV. The vintage charm really adds character, and the location is prime, just steps away from the metro and a short walk to major attractions like the Bund.
The shower head attachment was broken, and it made for a frustrating experience. The welcome drink was less impressive than advertised and the breakfast was overpriced given what you actually get. Plus, you might find yourself justifying why you need an extra umbrella during a rainy stay, which feels a bit excessive.

great stay,, but minor room quirks
Staff were exceptionally friendly, always attentive to our needs. The breakfast offerings were delightful, with a great balance of Chinese and Western dishes. The view from our room showcased the city's vibrant skyline, making for a pleasant backdrop during our stay.
The room had some minor quirks, but nothing too disruptive.

I had a delightful stay at The Yangtze Boutique Shanghai! The bathroom was huge, with a separate walk-in shower and a bathtub fitted with a TV, allowing for a luxurious experience. The comfortable bed ensured I had a restful night, and the vintage charm of the hotel really stood out. Being close to Nanking Road and the Bund made it easy to explore. There were plenty of dining options nearby.
I found communication with the receptionist a bit challenging.
